Conference Details: 

Submission Types: 

  • Complete panel: A submission for a complete panel should include a panel title and panel chair in addition to individual author information & individual paper titles for each panelist. Each complete panel should contain 3 or 4 presenters. 

  • Individual paper presentation: A submission for an individual presentation should include a title, abstract (150 words), and author information.  

  • Poster presentation: Single submission of a visual display of research that encourages informal interaction between the author(s) and audience. A primary author must be in attendance and committed to standing near their presentation through the designated session.   

  • Roundtable: A submission for a roundtable should include facilitator information, title of session, abstract (150 words), and discussants’ names and affiliations. 

  • Workshop: Workshops are scheduled throughout the four days of the Annual Conference. Workshops are opportunities for faculty and practitioners to gain new skills and knowledge. Workshops on all topics are welcome and should last for 60 minutes. When possible and appropriate, relating a workshop to the Annual Conference theme is encouraged. Possible topics include professional networking, working with publishers, the work-life balance, best practices for working with student organizations, syllabus development, collaborating with students on original research, and teaching with new technology. Submissions should outline the workshop topic, the intended audience, and the facilitator(s).

There is a two-night minimum for Friday and Saturday reservations. The group rate is $259/night on the weekdays and $339/night on the weekend for a king or queen/queen room type.

 

The cut-off date to book rooms is May 12th, 2026. After that date, the group rate is not guaranteed at the hotel.

*There are no refunds for paid conference registrations. Lodging refunds are per policies of the individual hotels.
