Preparing and Adapting to a Teaching Career on Campus: Reflections of Criminal Justice Professors

You will learn and share with other Criminal Justice Educators. 

Drop in for an hour or the entire workshop.  Topics change every half-hour.

This facilitated discussion will be participant-driven.  A number of teaching approaches, curriculum ideas, assignments and assessments will be shared.  The workshop will focus on the need for balance in our careers, the requirement of scholarship, teaching, advising and service to the institution and the discipline.  We will discuss the state of CJ education, potential new course focus, student centeredness, faculty development and the trajectory of the faculty career, including setting a research agenda.
